Andrea’s business career spans over twenty-five years in office management, private banking, and entrepreneurial ventures.

After a 10-year career as an Executive Assistant to several CEOs, Andrea earned her MBA from Simmons School of Management, after which she completed credit training at Fleet Bank and served as a Lending Officer in the Private Bank Division. Andrea then helped start and manage Energy Alliance Group, an international energy consultancy. As Director of Finance and Operations, Andrea established and maintained financial and accounting systems, managed corporate tax returns, maintained progress-billing systems for projects with multiple subcontractors, and monitored delivery schedules for large contracts.

In her next venture Andrea was recruited to help organize and launch College Broadcast, a venture capital backed Internet and broadband cable company, where she served as Vice President of Finance and Administration. Her responsibilities included administration, finance, banking, tax reporting, HR, and investor relations. She also prepared market analysis and due diligence for venture capital investors and for a $30 million acquisition. She developed HR policies and procedures, managed compliance issues and stock option records, designed and implemented employee performance review criteria, and retained and managed KPMG for financial accounting and reporting.

After the company was sold, Andrea started her own food manufacturing company, Goddess Granola, Inc. In less than 2-years she built a highly successful brand and her company was supplying product in over 25 states to more than 200 corporate and retail customers. She became expert at leveraging trade shows, on-line sales and marketing, and manufacturing and distribution.

Andrea now enjoys a well-balanced life managing her small business while raising two wonderful boys with her husband.
